Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Tax and Estate Planning Expert. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced tax, legal, and estate planning expertise to our sales and advisor teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver effective tax, legal, and estate planning solutions to clients and advisors
  • Participate in joint field work with advisors to identify potential tax planning opportunities
  • Actively participate in and resolve complex cases, applying expertise in devising sound client solutions
  • Build advisor capability through seminars and workshops on advanced financial planning topics
  • Deliver and promote sales tools that support Sun Life Financial's products and proprietary financial planning concepts
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of personal and corporate financial planning, including taxation, compensation arrangements, charitable wills and trusts, and business succession planning
  • Excellent understanding of industry trends and their implications on achieving business objectives
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including facilitation, training, and presentation
  • CPA, LL.B, M. Tax, or FCIA designation
  • Certifications such as CFP, CLU, FEA, or TEP are an asset
