You will work closely with other staff members to ensure seamless communication and coordination in providing exceptional care and education to our young learners. This is an excellent opportunity to build a rewarding career in a dynamic organization that values innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and implement daily programming using approved curricula, such as the High Scope curriculum, to promote children's optimal development.
- Supervise children at all times to protect their safety and well-being, ensuring equipment and the physical environment are maintained free of hazards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate planned and spontaneous experiences that support children's learning and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and families to share information about their child's progress and provide meaningful feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of children's medication schedules, allergies, and other relevant information.
- A degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience working with families and children, including those with special needs.
- An understanding of the ELECT and High Scope curriculum, as well as program planning based on an inclusion model.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong partnerships with parents, colleagues, and service providers.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and email.
We offer a competitive salary range of $50,072 - $54,465 per annum, plus benefits package, paid time off entitlements, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
