Gorugoru Food is seeking a skilled Food Services Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food services department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring revenues, determining labor costs, and planning daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor revenues to determine labor costs and optimize resource allocation.
- Plan and organize daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage events and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Support the integration of newcomers and refugees into our team, including providing mentorship and coaching opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities and organizations to promote cultural competency and inclusivity.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in food services management.
Work Environment:
30 to 35 hours per week, permanent position.
Language:
English.
