Restaurant Manager Job Description

Soul Restaurants Canada Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of our restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train staff to ensure they are providing excellent customer service and meeting the high standards of the restaurant.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and provide excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the restaurant is always stocked with the necessary supplies.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed and that the restaurant is a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
  • Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews to ensure that staff are meeting their goals and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
