Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Lougheed Wasabi Sushi & Grill Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to our high standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our management team.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that our team is well-staffed and prepared to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
