Dental Hygiene Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at DentalZen. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the oral health of our patients.
Responsibilities:- Teeth Cleaning and Gum Disease Prevention: Use dental instruments to clean teeth and beneath the margins of gums, and look for indications of oral cancer by feeling lymph nodes under patient chins for signs of tenderness or swelling.
- Medical History Review: Note and review patient medical history to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- Dental Equipment Maintenance: Maintain dental equipment and x-ray machine to ensure optimal performance.
- Oral Health Promotion: Promote preventative dental care to improve patient oral health care.
- Fluoride Application: Apply fluorides and other dental decay prevention agents to prevent tooth decay.
- Team Collaboration: Work with dentists and dental assistants to provide comprehensive dental care.
- Dental Hygiene Program: Maintain a dental hygiene program for patients to ensure optimal oral health.
- X-ray Machine Operation: Ability to use an x-ray machine.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Oral Hygiene Knowledge: Knowledgeable about oral hygiene and dental health.
- Pay Rate: The pay rate will be based on experience.
