Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Live-in Caregiver to join our team at Gradrock. As a key member of our household, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Household Management
    • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our children.
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
  • Childcare and Education
    • Supervise and care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
    • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, promoting their overall growth and development.
    • Help children with homework and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Nutrition and Meal Preparation
    • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and preferences.
  • Logistics and Transportation
    • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring timely and safe transportation.
  • Communication and Record-Keeping
    • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to perform household duties and care for children
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position
  • 35 to 40 hours per week
  • Work Language: English
