Key Responsibilities- Education and Training
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required
- Household Management
- Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
- Childcare and Education
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Nutrition and Meal Preparation
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the family
- Transportation and Errands
- Take children to and from school and to appointments
- Help children with homework
- Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in childcare or a related field is an asset
