Pre-Board Screening Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Pre-Board Screening Officer to join our team at Paladin Airport Security Services. As a key member of our airport security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screen passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints efficiently and effectively
  • Provide exceptional customer service and information to passengers, ensuring a positive travel experience
  • Confirm valid boarding passes and scan/test baggage for prohibited items using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other technology
  • Protect restricted areas and uphold all regulations with vigilance
Requirements:
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada
  • Be able to obtain a Transport Security Clearance and have a clean criminal record
  • Have fluency in English (verbal and written)
  • Be able to comply with CATSA medical requirements
  • Have demonstrated exceptional customer service skills, preferably in a high-volume environment for a minimum of one year
  • Be available to work any shift as required by the airport operation
