We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at JY Shinwoo Construction Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various locations, including residential and commercial buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tile
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and other materials as required
  • Set tiles in place and apply pressure to ensure a secure fit
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite
  • Install tile strips and ensure a seamless finish
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in tile setting
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Dependability and ability to work as part of a team
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial buildings. The work environment may be dusty and odorous at times.
