Job Summary:

At Toronto Motor Freight Inc., we are seeking a skilled Commercial Hauler to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining a variety of trucks and trailers to transport goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a range of vehicles, including straight and articulated trucks, to transport goods and materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods, and perform other tasks as required.
  • Work as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Mountain driving expertise and ability to work in a remote location.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Work Environment:
  • Work will be performed in a variety of locations, including remote areas.
  • Long-haul travel will be required.
  • Physically demanding work, including heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
