Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of National Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing sales strategies, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and managing budgets and resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Revenue Growth & Delivery:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize sales potential.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and sales finance to develop sales objectives and gap closing strategies.
  • Lead monthly forecast exercises to ensure accurate forecasting and drive increased forecast accuracy.
Sales Strategy Development & Performance Analysis:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with company objectives across independent and key account channels.
  • Continuously evaluate and make recommendations on adjustments to adapt to market conditions and business needs.
  • Work with sales leadership to align on product, TM, and banner specific KPIs.
Leadership Management:
  • Provide guidance and leadership to the sales organization.
  • Develop a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Support sales managers in mentoring and developing the broader sales team.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with Brand/Marketing, Sales Finance, Commercialization, and other internal teams to align sales efforts with overall business direction and strategy.
  • Provide input to product development and marketing initiatives based on customer feedback and market insights.
Budget & Resource Allocation and Optimization:
  • Manage monthly sales Opex budget to ensure resources are allocated effectively to support sales initiatives and maximize ROI.
  • Provide recommendations on cost savings and reallocations based on trends and shifting market dynamics.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in senior sales leadership with a strong emphasis on strategic sales strategy development.
  2. Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  3. Competence in budget management and resource optimization.
