Job Title: ESL Instructor

We are seeking a qualified ESL Instructor to join our team at Durham Continuing Education. As an ESL Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching English as a Second Language to adult learners.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in teaching English as a Second Language, with experience working with adult learners. You will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to students.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach English as a Second Language to adult learners
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans that meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Work collaboratively with other instructors and staff to support student success
Qualifications:
  • TESL certification
  • Experience working with adult learners
  • Trained in PBLA
Work Environment:

The position is currently for an on-site instructor, with the possibility of teaching virtual, synchronous classes. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with a focus on student success.
