About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking leader to join our team as an Executive Director. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Leadership: Developing and implementing strategic plans that align with our organization's purpose and goals;
  • Organizational Leadership: Building and maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation;
  • Financial Acumen: Ensuring the financial sustainability of our programs and services, and developing and executing budgets that meet our organizational goals;
  • Advocacy: Building strong relationships with stakeholders and advocating for our organization and its mission;
  • Fundraising: Collaborating with our fundraising team to develop and execute strategies that secure funding for our programs and services.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management capacity in a small business, community healthcare or non-profit setting; accountable for complex day-to-day operations, including administration, finance, governance, human resources and community relations;
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in social, health services, business or a related field;
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in staff supervision and development, budgeting and financial planning, grant writing, and community outreach and engagement.
