Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Angio-Interventional department. The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care, work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, and contribute to advancing care through teaching and learning.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have experience working in an angiography suite or cath lab, with a strong focus on patient assessment, education, and prevention. They will possess excellent communication skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team to assess, educate, and prevent health issues.
  • Work in an angiography suite or cath lab, applying knowledge of transfers and lifts to ensure patient safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, using written and verbal skills to convey information.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, prioritization, and organization to manage complex patient cases.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Nursing or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an angiography suite or cath lab.
