We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Childcare Specialist to join our team at ALBERT RYAN TE. This is a temporary position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families.

Job Summary

The Childcare Specialist will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to children in the comfort of their own home. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a warm and nurturing approach to childcare.

You will work closely with parents to understand their unique needs and preferences, ensuring that each child receives personalized attention and care. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to creating a safe, healthy, and engaging environment for children to grow and thrive.

About the Role

This is a 40-hour per week position that requires flexibility, initiative, and a commitment to excellence. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with children, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, and can maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Travel with families on trips and assist with childcare and housekeeping responsibilities
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting good hygiene and social development
  • Discipline children according to parents' requested methods, using positive reinforcement techniques
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding children
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
  • Organize activities, games, and outings for children, promoting cognitive, emotional, and physical development
  • Prepare nutritious meals for children, considering dietary restrictions and allergies
  • Prepare children for rest periods, ensuring a smooth transition to sleep
  • Supervise and care for children at all times, prioritizing their safety and well-being
  • Take children to and from school and appointments, maintaining punctuality and reliability
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, offering empathy and support when needed
Requirements
  • CPR and First Aid certificates
  • High school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
