Job Summary

Les Instruments de Musique Twigg Inc. is seeking a skilled Wind Instrument Technician to join our team. As a Wind Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining musical instruments to ensure they are in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Diagnose Instruments: Carefully examine musical instruments to identify any defects or damage, and determine the necessary repairs or maintenance required.
  • Repair and Maintain Instruments: Use hand, power, or specialized tools to repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components, and calibrate instruments to ensure proper functioning.
  • Test and Adjust Instruments: Thoroughly test and adjust repaired instruments to ensure they meet our high standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with other technicians and staff members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as music or instrument repair.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in wind instrument repair or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands of the job.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French.
Work Environment

As a Wind Instrument Technician at Les Instruments de Musique Twigg Inc., you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be required to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a dusty and noisy environment.
