Job Title: Project Coordinator, Engineering
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Engineering PMO team at Texada Software. As a Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of engineering projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing moderately complex product and engineering initiatives through our SDLC from engineering discovery to production deployment.
- Facilitate sprint planning of product features to create efficient burndown and execution of priorities.
- Identify and communicate project risks, proposing mitigation strategies and escalating critical issues to senior team members and stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings, prepare agendas, take notes, and ensure clear follow-up of action items.
- Support the team in delivery of new product and application features.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of previous experience in project coordination or a related field, preferably within a software or technology environment.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and meticulous.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Agile project management concepts.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or Aha.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
