Dry Cleaning Supervisor Job Description
At Clark West Cleaners, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dry Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dry cleaning facility, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate the work of our cleaning staff to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of our cleaning services, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are in good working order.
- Assist clients with special needs, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that their requirements are met.
- Be the point of contact for emergency situations, providing a calm and professional response.
- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Monitor quality and production levels, making adjustments as necessary to ensure that our services meet the highest standards.
- Oversee the cleaning of specialty and difficult items, using specialized equipment and techniques as required.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, providing regular updates to management.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, ensuring that all necessary resources are available.
- Resolve work problems, providing technical advice and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Supervise the operation of mechanical equipment and machinery, ensuring that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
- Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of our cleaning staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies, ensuring that all employees are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
- Wash or dry-clean industrial or household articles, using specialized equipment and techniques as required.
Requirements:
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment.
- English as the primary language of communication.
- 35 hours per week.
