Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hardware Store Sales Associate to join our team at Sioux Lookout Home Hardware Building Centre. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, discuss their needs, and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of knowledge about our products, including features, benefits, and applications.
  • Sales Transactions: Process sales transactions, handle cash, credit, and other payment methods, and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory control, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
