Job SummaryWe are offering a competitive salary of $60,000 per year for this role. As an Executive Culinary Supervisor at Piva Italian Restaurant, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key ResponsibilitiesCulinary Leadership:
- Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menus and services.
- Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to optimize profitability and minimize waste.
- Plan and implement menu development, ensuring that dishes are created with fresh, seasonal ingredients and presented in an appealing manner.
Menu Development:
- Collaborate with our culinary team to design and execute menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of various cuisines, particularly Italian, to create authentic and exciting dishes.
Staff Management:
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff to promote a culture of excellence, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
- Foster open communication and provide constructive feedback to staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
Quality Control:
- Ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional customer experience.
- Address customer complaints and feedback promptly, providing solutions and alternatives when necessary.
To succeed as an Executive Culinary Supervisor at Piva Italian Restaurant, you must possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment, is required. You should have a strong understanding of Italian cuisine and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
