Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our training department, you will be responsible for designing and delivering training programs to enhance safety and efficiency in our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive training materials and programs for manufacturing operations, including manuals, guides, and course materials.
- Lead training sessions for manufacturing staff, focusing on operational procedures, safety protocols, and quality control standards.
- Assess the effectiveness of training by evaluating employee performance, providing feedback, and making necessary adjustments to training programs.
- Stay updated with the latest manufacturing technologies and processes to continuously improve training content and methods.
- Work closely with the HR Training & Development Specialist and manufacturing supervisors and managers to identify training needs and ensure that the workforce is skilled and knowledgeable.
- Ensure all training activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company safety standards.
- Analyze training processes and data to determine ongoing/new training needs, update/develop materials, and provide in-depth training reports.
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a related field, such as communications, technical writing, adult education, or training.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and a background in education or training are preferred.
- Proficiency in using production equipment, ERP, MES, and lean manufacturing tools.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, essential for facilitating engaging training sessions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a background in training needs analysis and program evaluation.
- Mechanical aptitude, machine maintenance history, and experience in training new production workers in the use of materials, machines, and computer systems used on the production floor for work instruction, tracking, and the recording of production information.
