Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team at MANITOBA LTD. as a Product Movement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload products and materials from trucks, containers, and storage areas.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts, to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Read blueprints and instructions to determine the dimensions of structures or systems and material requirements.
  • Make labels and attach them to goods, ensuring accurate and timely identification.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Wrap and pack goods for shipping, ensuring they are properly secured and protected.
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Install, lash, and secure goods, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Transport and distribute materials and goods, ensuring timely delivery and minimal damage.
  • Organize inventories using computerized inventory control systems, maintaining accurate records and reports.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work under pressure. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in a variety of weather conditions, and meet tight deadlines.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
