Job Title: Material Handler

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team at A1 Touch Ltd. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and unloading products and materials from trucks, trailers, and other equipment
  • Operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products
  • Picking orders and stocking shelves
  • Weighing materials and goods
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Packing and unpacking goods
  • Sorting, crating, and stacking goods
  • Installing, lashing, and securing goods
  • Transporting and distributing materials and goods
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory
  • Using computerized inventory control systems to manage inventories
Work Environment:

As a Material Handler, you will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. You will be required to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in dusty and noisy environments
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

As a Material Handler, you will be required to work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks, heavy lifting, and tight deadlines. You will need to be able to distinguish between colors and have good attention to detail.

Language:

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.

Work Term:

This is a permanent position.Hours:

The work schedule is 32 to 40 hours per week.
