Job Title: Travel Agent

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Travel Agent to join our team at Toureto Travel and Tours Inc. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to other financial transactions, such as plane tickets and travel insurance
  • Calculate cost of travel and accommodations
  • Handle reimbursement in case of transportation and hotel reservations cancellation
  • Recommend suitable products
  • Supervise clerical staff or other travel counsellors
  • Investigate new travel areas, hotels and other amenities
  • Manage difficult situations with customers
  • Perform general office duties
  • Sell travel products and travel insurance
  • Provide customers with travel information and other details such as regulations, duty free allowances, health risks and requirements, attractions and special events
  • Attend to cancellations and schedule changes
  • Develop contact lists
  • Provide travel information to clients regarding destinations, transportation, accommodation options and travel costs

Requirements:

  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 40 hours per week
