About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team at J.T. Insurance Services (Canada), Inc. As an Office Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Office Operations: Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Policy Administration: Administer policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Training and Development: Train staff on new procedures and policies, and oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate office operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.
