Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 102667 PEI INC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Food Service Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimating ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
    • Prepare and submit reports on stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Basic security clearance.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
    • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Working Conditions
  • 40 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
