We are seeking a skilled attorney with experience in capital markets and securities to join our team at Cozen O'Connor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and technical skills, with the ability to draft prospectuses, filing statements, and other related documents.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with clients and colleagues to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results. Experience in private M&A and taking a leadership role in preparing share purchase agreements and/or asset purchase agreements is highly valued.

As a member of our Canadian Capital Markets & Securities team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including businesses, investment banks, and governmental entities. You will assist with public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, reverse takeovers, and other related transactions, as well as provide trusted advice to boards and special committees on corporate governance, compliance, and reporting obligations.

Requirements:

  • Ontario Bar membership is required
  • Memberships in other Canadian jurisdictions are an asset
  • Recent deal sheet and resume required
