Retail Operations Manager

The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily retail store operations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. In the absence of the Store Manager, this role assumes the Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in daily operations and staff management, ensuring a high level of productivity and efficiency.
- Contribute to store merchandising, shelf stocking, and boxing and unboxing daily shipments, maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving escalated issues promptly and professionally.
- Develop and train employees, focusing on their growth and development within the company.
- Perform cash management, store opening, and closing duties as needed, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assign tasks to the team, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for employees and customers.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff, driving improvement and growth.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards, promoting a culture of compliance and excellence.
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards based on company strategy, driving sales and customer engagement.
- Responsible for the hiring and performance management process, ensuring the right talent is in place to drive business success.
Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in the retail industry;
- At least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role;
- Open availability required (day, evening, weekend);
- Ability to efficiently organize time and manage priorities;
- Good leadership, communication, and decision-making skills;
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-volume environment.
