At First Choice Haircutters, we're looking for a talented and motivated individual to lead our salon team as a Salon Manager. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for managing all salon operations, providing leadership and tools for success, and ensuring the highest quality service for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage salon operations, including staff management, customer service, and inventory control.
  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support to your team to ensure they're equipped to deliver exceptional service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability, while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Recruit, train, and develop your team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Handle conflicts and client complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze sales data and develop strategies to increase profitability.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Basic math skills and ability to perform administrative tasks.
  • Ability to travel to mandatory meetings and training sessions, including overnight travel.

Physical Requirements:

  • Good eyesight to observe guests' hair, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to stand, lift, and reach for extended periods, with occasional lifting of 10-25 lbs.
  • Comfortable with fragrances and chemicals used in treatments.
