Job Title: Creative Artisan

Milestone Ventures Limited is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Creative Artisan to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, repairing cracks, and applying paint and wallpaper to interior and exterior surfaces.

About the Role:

  • We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • This is a full-time position with 40 hours of work per week.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent hand-eye coordination, be able to distinguish between colors, and possess physical stamina to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for advising consumers on color choices and providing exceptional client service.
  • We value flexibility, reliability, and teamwork in our candidates.
  • Your previous experience should include at least 7 months of work in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and other surfaces.
  • Mix paint to desired color and texture.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other materials to walls.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging as needed.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

Work Environment and Conditions:

  • This is a physically demanding role that requires frequent standing, bending, and lifting.
  • You will work in various locations, including construction sites and indoor areas.

Requirements:

  • Possess a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong hand-eye coordination and color differentiation skills.
  • Be physically capable of handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs) of weight.
  • Show excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
