About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer in Test to join our Global QA team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and executing test cases for complex feature enhancements, validating user stories, and contributing to automated testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute test cases for complex feature enhancements, validating user stories and requirements
  • Contribute to automated testing efforts, including writing high-quality and stable automated test cases using existing frameworks
  • Collaborate with development teams across multiple time zones and locations to ensure effective testing and quality assurance
  • Review automated test run results, triage failures, and verify results
  • Organize test case inventories to minimize the number of test cases while maximizing test coverage

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong background in test design and implementation
  • Knowledge of various test activities across release pipelines, including unit testing, regression testing, UI/API testing, etc.
  • Experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium, UFT, and Appium
  • Strong understanding of test cases, test data, test runs, and test results management
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with development teams and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good understanding of testing across different device types and operating systems
  • Understanding of multiple test types, including unit, functional, integration, end-to-end, security, performance, load, and UI tests
  • Ability to scout emerging industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance
