About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Dawood Holdings LTD. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
  • Dust furniture and other surfaces to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and tidy environment.
  • Make beds and change sheets to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our residents and staff.
  • Stock linen closet to ensure a sufficient supply of linens and toiletries.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure that our residents and staff can locate their belongings.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide excellent customer service.
  • Provide basic information on facilities to our residents and staff.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy environment.
  • Clean changing rooms and showers to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns to provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
  • Handling heavy loads and physically demanding work.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Overtime required to meet the demands of the role.
  • Standing for extended periods and walking throughout the day.
