Job Summary

Samsung Electronics Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist II, Customer Demand Planning to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end demand planning processes, collaborating with customers, sales, operations, and logistics teams to achieve accurate account-level executable demand forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain rolling forecasts for large and complex accounts, leveraging analytics and customer inputs.
  • Collaborate with portfolio leaders to execute changes into the system and attend weekly CPFR meetings with inventory analysts, customers, and sales representatives.
  • Monitor historical sales trends and inventory levels to provide sell-in, sell-through, and sell-out forecasts using Samsung internal systems.
  • Work closely with logistics teams to coordinate direct and hub shipments, ensuring on-time delivery appointments.
  • Report issues and gaps to account managers, perform root cause analysis, and develop recovery plans.
  • Minimize compliance charges and participate in post-audit reviews.
  • Review sales progress, identify gaps to plan, and ensure appropriate recovery plans are developed by key stakeholders.
  • Recommend best practices regarding supply chain management processes and policies, actively applying a continuous improvement approach to work processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on supply chain management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a relevant field, preferably with CPG or electronics industry experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact comfortably with a wide range of levels in organizations.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Process improvement skills.
