**Job Posting for Educational Assistant**

**Hours of Work:**

Monday to Friday: 32.5 hours per week

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

We are seeking a qualified Educational Assistant to join our team at the Superior-Greenstone District School Board. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and excellent communication skills.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide educational support to students in a classroom setting

• Assist teachers with lesson planning and implementation

• Develop and implement individualized education plans for students

• Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents

• Maintain accurate records and reports

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Early Childhood Education Diploma, or

• Child and Youth Worker Diploma, or

• Social Services Worker Diploma; or

• Teacher Aide Diploma; or

• Personal Support Worker Diploma; or

• Educational Support Program

**Application Requirements:**

Applicants must submit a complete summary of education and work experience. In addition, applicants must provide the names of three professional references, one of which must be a current or most recent immediate supervisor, along with telephone numbers and email addresses, and a written authorization from the applicant permitting the Board to contact these references.
