Job Description: Boom Truck Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boom Truck Operator to join our Material Supply and Logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a boom truck to transport goods and materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive primarily straight trucks to transport goods and materials on local routes and short inter-urban routes.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring all equipment is in proper working order.
  • Secure cargo properly according to safety regulations and follow established procedures for transporting goods and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers using communication devices and on-board computers.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on the truck to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Requirements:
  • Valid AZ or DZ Driver's License.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and being on call.
  • 1-2 years of experience operating a boom truck is considered an asset.
