**Job Summary**

Tomlinson Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Boom Truck Operator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for operating a Boom truck to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate and drive Boom trucks to transport goods and materials on local routes and short inter-urban routes.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and condition.
  • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including loading and unloading of cargo.
  • Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers using communication devices and on-board computers.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and mandated daily safety and maintenance checks on trucks.
  • Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner to minimize the risk of injury and property damage.

**Requirements:**

  • Valid AZ or DZ Driver's License.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and being on call.
  • 1-2 years' experience in operating a Boom truck (asset).
