Job Description

As an Underwriting Product Manager at Facility Association, you will be responsible for leading the charge in developing, enhancing, and maintaining our underwriting products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement product enhancements, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and aligning product offerings with our mission and industry best practices.

This is a full-time permanent position requiring work from the office a minimum of 2 days per month.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage project plans, ensuring resource allocation and task coordination
  2. Mitigate risks and manage stakeholders effectively
  3. Oversee project budgets and ensure quality standards are met
  4. Create and execute change management plans for project rollout
  5. Execute departmental projects aimed at increasing efficiency

Requirements:

  • Education: College Diploma in Business Administration, Insurance Management, or related field
  • Experience: Minimum 5 to 7 years Automobile Underwriting Experience
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to leverage product knowledge and deep understanding of legislative requirements
  • Communication: Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence, and counsel with individuals inside and outside the organization
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to address diverse challenges by evaluating alternative approaches within established practices
  • Decision Making: Analytical, research, and critical thinking skills to adapt to diverse duties involving different processes
  • Organization and Planning: Demonstrated ability to plan and organize multiple complex activities, adapting as needed
  • Accountability: Demonstrates responsibility for using, recording, and storing information with occasional accuracy and quality checks
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with the MS Office suite of products
