Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at HIGHLAND FARMS. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring that they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and stored.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Merchandise Management: Order and receive merchandise, ensuring that stock is accurately received and stored.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Team Development: Train and develop sales staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
Work Environment

HIGHLAND FARMS is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Head Cashier, you will be required to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity. You will also be required to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
