Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at JnB Homecare Services Ltd. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our healthcare institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • General Maintenance: Perform safety and security checks; move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies; perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads; physically demanding; bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Equipment: Industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers; carpet cleaning machine; power tools; power lawn mowers; snowblower.
