About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandising Team Leader to join our team at AEO. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Merchandising strategy for the store, driving sales, and ensuring the store is always "guest ready".

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales and Revenue Growth: As a key LOD, you will be responsible for maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity, building guest loyalty, and contributing to the overall financial success of the store.
  • Merchandising and Visual Standards: You will coach your team to deliver an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store is always representative of AEO Brand Standards, leading day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment.
  • People Leadership: You will motivate and inspire your team through AEO's core values, hold them accountable to rocking AEO's customer service standards, and provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: You will make it a top priority to recruit and hire strong talent to ensure the store is always staffed to meet business needs, and develop your team to ensure they continue to provide outstanding service.
  • Operational Excellence: You will execute and innovate daily operational procedures, support the team in maintaining visual standards throughout every zone in the store, and ensure the Fitting Rooms are always guest-ready and rocking AEO Brand Standards.
  • Integrity and Compliance: You will ensure store safety standards are maintained, adhere to AEO's policies and procedures, and do the right thing always.
Requirements
  • You have a passion for driving sales and revenue growth.
  • You have led teams in a retail management role previously.
  • You can multi-task and have attention to detail, with strong priority-setting and time management skills.
  • You know how to lead and develop teams and have a general understanding of employment law.
  • You have business acumen and can analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions.
  • You have flexible availability and are available to work when the guest shops.
