Job Overview
Economic Developers Association of Canada (EDAC) is seeking an experienced Admin Assistant – Woodlands County to provide essential support for Economic Development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for community development.

This position plays a vital role in supporting the Economic Development Officer in leading, facilitating, and promoting community and economic development. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and serving as a liaison with committees, boards, and the public on Economic Development matters.

The Economic Development Specialist will contribute to the implementation of the Economic Development Strategy and strategic priorities. They will work to ensure Stony Plain remains an attractive, investment-friendly, and future-ready community through marketing and communication efforts.

To excel in this role, you should have:
