About the Role- We are looking for a skilled welder with experience in manual or semi-automatic welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
- The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications is essential.
- Fabricate and repair metal parts and products using various welding techniques and equipment.
- Interpret welding process specifications and ensure that all welds meet standards and/or specifications.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
- Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment as needed.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in welding and fabrication.
- Physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks, fast-paced work, and extended standing periods.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- Steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment required.
- We offer competitive salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
