Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Specialist to join our team at Roald Smith Construction Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in woodworking, construction, and renovation, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments.
  • Strong physical capabilities, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on safety and quality. The work will involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments.
