Job Summary

Fraser Health Authority is seeking a skilled Cardiology Technologist to join our team at Surrey Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, and holter monitoring, as well as analyzing and interpreting test results.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct ECG testing, stress testing, and holter monitoring to diagnose and monitor cardiovascular conditions.
  2. Explain procedures and answer patient questions to ensure a smooth testing process.
  3. Analyze and interpret ECG, stress, and holter monitor test strips to provide accurate diagnoses.
  4. Enter patient test information into Meditech to maintain accurate Electronic Health Records.
  5. Maintain equipment and supplies, and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
  6. Provide training and orientation to new staff members and students.
Qualifications

Completion of a recognized Cardiology Technology Program at the Diploma level, plus two years of recent related experience. Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT) certification is also required.
