GardaWorld is seeking a dedicated Pre-Board Screening Officer to join our team at the Ottawa International Airport in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of the travelling public. Your responsibilities will include:
- Screening travellers and their belongings to prevent non-permitted items from entering the secure area
- Controlling access to restricted areas and responding to alarms and incidents
- Participating in emergency operations within the airport
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate of $23.92-$28.47
- Comprehensive health benefits and opportunities for growth and development
- Paid training and a uniform provided
- A minimum of 20 hours per week guaranteed, with additional hours up to 40 hours per week
Requirements
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or permanent resident
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Have a clean criminal record and be eligible for RAIC security clearance
- 18 years of age or older
- Located near Ottawa, ON or willing to relocate before starting
