Job Summary

STARTRUX EXPRESS LTD. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes, utilizing your expertise in route optimization and navigation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, utilizing computer equipment, GPS, and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with colleagues.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods, obtain special permits and documents required for international routes, and transport and handle dangerous goods with caution.
  • Administrative Tasks: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess an AZ class license and adhere to all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit to handle heavy loads, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail.
