Health and Wellness Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Wellness Manager to join our Talent and Culture team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing disability claims, administering benefits, and developing wellness initiatives to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Disability Management: Manage and administer disability claims, including occupational and non-occupational short-term and long-term claims and appeals. Develop and implement return-to-work plans and duty to accommodate agreements.
- Benefits Administration: Manage the benefit function, including administering the extended Group Benefit Plan, Pension, TFSA, and RRSP plans. Educate colleagues and answer inquiries regarding the group benefit plans.
- Wellness Initiatives: Develop and deploy meaningful and impactful wellness initiatives and programs for the hotel. Chairperson of the hotel Wellness committee and Health & Safety representative.
- Employee Relations: Provide consultation to employees and managers regarding disability management services, the dispute resolution process, and the responsibilities in the workplace accommodation process.
- Minimum 3-year previous experience in Human Resources with experience in Group Benefit Plan administration, Disability Claims Management, and previous leadership experience.
- Proven ability to successfully manage disability claims to both occupational and non-occupational absences.
- Human Resources or related degree/certificate completion an asset.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated abilities and creative use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and various social media platforms.
