Fund Administration Director

Job Overview
MUFG Investor Services is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our team in a key leadership role. This position will be responsible for providing fund administration services to our clients, with a focus on private equity and private credit.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary contact for clients on daily operational issues, discussions, and requests.
- Review Net Asset Value calculations and associated reporting.
- Coordinate investor capital activities, annual financial audits, and statutory reporting.
- Maintain a working understanding of fund documentation and apply terms to financial reporting and income/expenses allocations.
- Develop solutions for accounting issues and maintain a working knowledge of current accounting principles.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery and timely completion of deliverables.
- Involved in new fund onboarding process.
- Resolve client issues and maintain high client satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and increase operational efficiency.
- Responsible for work allocation and team utilization, ensuring cross-training and coverage meet client and organizational expectations.
- Participate in company and client initiatives outside of normal deliverables and responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Hold a university degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant qualification.
- Minimum 5 years progressive accounting/audit/fund administration experience in private credit or private equity, managing staff.
- In-depth understanding of the fund industry, good knowledge of private credit or loan products an advantage.
- Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and willingness to embrace new technologies.
- Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Singapore GAAP.
- Experience with accounting software: Investran an advantage.
