Job Overview

MUFG Investor Services is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our team in a key leadership role. This position will be responsible for providing fund administration services to our clients, with a focus on private equity and private credit.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide primary contact for clients on daily operational issues, discussions, and requests.
  2. Review Net Asset Value calculations and associated reporting.
  3. Coordinate investor capital activities, annual financial audits, and statutory reporting.
  4. Maintain a working understanding of fund documentation and apply terms to financial reporting and income/expenses allocations.
  5. Develop solutions for accounting issues and maintain a working knowledge of current accounting principles.
  6. Liaise with banks, auditors, brokers, and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery and timely completion of deliverables.
  7. Involved in new fund onboarding process.
  8. Resolve client issues and maintain high client satisfaction.
  9. Identify opportunities for process improvement and increase operational efficiency.
  10. Responsible for work allocation and team utilization, ensuring cross-training and coverage meet client and organizational expectations.
  11. Participate in company and client initiatives outside of normal deliverables and responsibilities.

Qualifications

  1. Hold a university degree in Finance/Accounting or relevant qualification.
  2. Minimum 5 years progressive accounting/audit/fund administration experience in private credit or private equity, managing staff.
  3. In-depth understanding of the fund industry, good knowledge of private credit or loan products an advantage.
  4. Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and willingness to embrace new technologies.
  5. Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and Singapore GAAP.
  6. Experience with accounting software: Investran an advantage.
