Job Summary:

Kativik Ilisarniliriniq, a school board offering educational services in 14 communities of Nunavik, is seeking candidates for General Education Teacher positions in Adult Education, in both French and English sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach general education courses to adult learners
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse students
  • Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement educational programs

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Teaching certification or equivalent
  • Experience teaching adult learners and in multi-level classrooms
  • Proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the school board (Inuktitut, French, English)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Quebec Ministry of Education's programs
  • Experience teaching English and French as a second language
  • Familiarity with the Moodle platform
